1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Veritas CV ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Veritas CV is a web-based resume builder that allows users to create professional, Harvard-style resumes. The Service includes:

• —Pro subscription plans with unlimited downloads and advanced analysis features
• —Ultimate subscription plans with premium features and unlimited downloads
• —Secure cloud storage of your resumes accessible across devices

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, including saving resumes and purchasing subscriptions, you must create an account. You can sign in using your Google account through our secure OAuth integration.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• —Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• —Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
• —Not use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
• —Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Service without express permission

5. Payment and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

The Service offers the following pricing options:

• —One-Time Payment: $1.99 USD per resume download
• —Pro Monthly: $7.99 USD per month with 20 downloads
• —Pro Yearly: $69.00 USD per year with 200 downloads
• —Ultimate Monthly: $14.99 USD per month with unlimited downloads
• —Ultimate Yearly: $119.00 USD per year with unlimited downloads

Prices are subject to change with notice. Your subscription will continue at the price you originally agreed to unless you cancel and resubscribe at a new price.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store or have access to your full payment card information.

5.3 Subscriptions

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the subscription fee at the beginning of each renewal period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that time.

Download Limits: Download limits reset at the beginning of each billing period. Unused downloads do not carry over to the next period. Ultimate plans include unlimited downloads during the subscription period.

5.4 Refund Policy

One-Time Payments: Due to the digital nature of our product, one-time payments are final. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from downloading your resume after payment, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund at our discretion.

Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time for a full refund of the current billing period if you contact us within 14 days of the initial purchase or renewal. After 14 days, refunds are provided on a prorated basis at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, algorithms, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Veritas CV and protected by intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create using the Service. Your resume data is stored securely in our database and belongs entirely to you. You may export, download, edit, or delete your resumes at any time.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• —The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• —Using our resume format will guarantee employment or interview success

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERITAS CV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Data Storage and Loss

Your resume data is stored securely in our database and is accessible across devices when you sign in to your account. While we implement industry-standard backup and security measures, we cannot guarantee that data loss will never occur.

You are responsible for backing up your important data. We recommend exporting your resumes as PDF files periodically for your own records. We are not liable for any data loss that may occur due to technical failures, security breaches, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account and all associated data, including resumes, within 30 days of termination, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or compliance purposes.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or by deleting your account through your dashboard. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently deleted subject to our data retention policies.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
